New Files and Readers
=====================

    The contents of ``serpentTools.next`` are in development
    and subject to change from the development branch up to
    release in ``0.11.0``. Not all features included in the
    current ``serpentTools`` API exist in ``serpentTools.next``

The ``serpentTools.next`` module implements the new data model discussed
in :pull:`400` and in :ref:`data-model`.
